Devin, Joe and Steve have always been curious. Though they don’t have any formal education to guide them, they sit down every week to discuss unsolved mysteries of all kinds: weird noises, strange website and horrific suicides that look a lot like murders. They take a skeptical approach, but never discount the truly odd nature of the world.
20-yr-old Morgan Ingram was stalked and tormented for 4 months until December 2011, when she was found dead of an apparent drug overdose. Police ruled it a suicide, but Morgan's parents say she was murdered.
I was sadden that this wonderful girl died. Therefore, I began to look for more information on her death. Sword and scale actually has a two part podcast on this subject, episodes 11 and 12. An interesting website is the truth for Morgan website linked in your sources list. Keep up the great work. I enjoy listening to your podcast.

Hello, the podcast Sword & Scale did a two part episode on this case.
I will recommend people to listen to it. It paints a different picture than the lovely hosts here painted.

Hey guys, thanks for covering this case! After hearing about this on Sword and Scale, I’ve been itching for an update.
I was wondering why no mention was made of Toni’s relentless internet bullying and accusing of innocent people. She has publically threatened and harassed individuals and their families, and victims have been speaking about their experiences in opposition to Toni and her tirade.
This is a very sad theory, but this strikes me as a case of Munchausen by proxy. Morgan was slowly getting more independent and she was supposedly getting ready to leave for college (but wasn’t she 20 when she died?). I think that her mom lost her mind over the fact that her daughter was growing up and acting in defiance of her controlling nature, and consciously or not, fabricated the whole stalker situation so that she could have complete control over her daughter’s whereabouts at every moment and to make her terrified of leaving the house.
It seems possible that it got so out of hand that Morgan stood up for herself, told off her mom, and killed herself. Is it more than a coincidence that the night she calls her mom a b*tch, she is suddenly found dead the next morning?
